You can visit our website without providing any personal information. We only process your personal data such as name, address and email address if you decide to become a member of the association. The provision of personal data such as telephone number, date of birth and bank details is voluntary and only based on your expressed consent, which can be revoked at any time. We guarantee that we will not pass your data on for commercial purposes. Your data will only be passed on to third parties for non-commercial purposes if you have given your consent, if we are legally obliged to do so or if this is necessary in the context of contract fulfillment or execution.

Your Rights
You have the right to free information about the personal data stored about you, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing at any time. You have a right to deletion or blocking, if you wish us to no longer save your data and a right to have your personal data corrected, if we have stored it incorrectly. You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time without giving reasons. Server Log Files
When you visit our website, the server normally collects data about every access to the offer, so-called server log files, such as the name of the website accessed, date and time of access, the previously visited page or the identification data of the browser type or operating system used. We only use this data for statistical evaluations for our business purposes, for security and to optimize our offer. This data cannot be assigned to specific people. However, we reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if there are reasonable grounds to suspect illegal use.

Data Security
We protect your data with the help of technical and operational safeguards against accidental or intentional manipulation, against loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are regularly checked and adapted to technological progress.

Protection of Minors
Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit personal data to us and should not apply for membership with us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. Linking to other Websites
We link on our website to the websites of the KW Institute of Contemporary Art www.kw-berlin.de and the Berlin Biennale for contemporary art www.berlinbiennale.de. Our data protection declaration does not extend to these websites and we are not responsible for their content.

Social media
We are present on the social networks Facebook and Instagram. We take the current discussion about data protection in social networks very seriously and point out that it is currently not legally clarified whether and to what extent all social networks offer their services in accordance with European data protection regulations. We operate our offers on these platforms under the data protection regulations of the respective platform operators and are not directly responsible for their data processing. Please note that we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and their use by the social networks and service providers and cannot control them. Further information on the handling of data protection on Facebook and Instagram and on your legal options and setting options can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy?ref=new_policy and http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
